Our initiatives bring advocacy to life. Each project reflects our mission to empower nurses, educate communities, and influence policy. From outreach campaigns to cultural preservation, these initiatives demonstrate how vision becomes action.

Spotlight Issue

DOE/CFR Discrepancy (2025–2026)

Addressing inconsistencies between Department of Education standards and Code of Federal Regulations listings. This initiative seeks clarity, compliance, and reform to protect nursing as a professional career and families navigating disability systems.

Milestones

Advocacy Statement: “From Nightingale to Nowhere: Nursing in Crisis” (2025)

  • Now serve as foundation texts for outreach. RN‑P Pilot Proposal: Submitted to Governor DeSantis on November 3, 2025, building on outreach connections recommended by the Governor’s office.

Advocacy Briefs: “From Recognition to Rejection” (2025)

  • Cornerstone documents —with Executive‑Level Recognition
  • Engagement with policymakers and nursing leaders marks a new phase of national advocacy.

Future Projects

  • Podcast Launch: A biweekly podcast (Mondays and Thursdays) amplifying the voices of nurses, advocates, and community leaders. Designed to educate, inspire, while maximizing engagement.
  • Outreach Campaigns: Personalized advocacy letters and executive‑level engagement with policymakers, nursing associations, and community leaders to advance reform.
  • Nursing Alliances: The Five County Nurse Coalition was established to unify nursing voices across the region, strengthening advocacy for patient care and professional support. Together, we champion equitable policies, amplify community health priorities, and advance the role of nurses as leaders in shaping healthcare.
