We are nurses committed to healthcare advocacy through education, strategic support, and community outreach. Guided by compassion, ethical Christian values, and a dedication to justice, we empower underserved communities, vulnerable populations, and nurse professionals. Our mission is to be a voice for nurses and a bridge for communities, ensuring that advocacy remains rooted in love and service.

Founded by Cathy Christian-Simmons, BSN, RN, the Healthcare Advocacy Alliance grew from a lifelong commitment to nursing, education, and reform. Cathy’s work as a registered nurse, advocate, and nonprofit leader inspired the creation of a platform that addresses systemic gaps in healthcare while uplifting the profession. Her vision extends beyond clinical practice — integrating advocacy, curriculum design, and cultural education through initiatives like the Minority Women’s Doll Museum, Inc.

Our advocacy honors the pioneers of nursing who paved the way for today’s professionals. Who shoulders we stand on, those who transformed nursing into a profession of courage and compassion. This legacy fuels our campaigns and connects our work to a broader cultural mission: preserving history while advancing reform.
